Got this from Moki awhile back, he said save it for something special. Only 20,000 made and he said an Opus X rosado wrapper. Today I went and said "goodbye" to the wrecked Mustang. Then I smoked it.
Ashton VSG Estate Reserve "Chateau De La Fuente" Belicoso
If you can imagine a VSG with an Opus X wrapper, this was pure heaven. My mind was elsewhere when I lit it but quickly I got the hint. This cigar was so smooth, almost effortless to smoke.
cut: sliced like butter, wrapper and filler had perfect construction to look at each end
burn: beyond even, wrapper seemed to just fold into ash, cool almost no smoke came off it till I drew on it
draw: effortless
ash: was almost white, hung on for over 2 1/2 inches then I stood up to grab a drink and it fell
smoke: lush, silky, rose up to a fine mist
flavor: double triple premium rich tobacco, caught the hints of VSG and X at the same time, and pure even, one didn't overdue the other, would open mouth and let it drift out then draw back in, this was the Chateaubriand of cigars; melted in the mouth
The likes of this cigar I think will never be matched again. It was breath taking. I felt completely mellow just sitting back enjoying this cigar.
I don't know how rating numbers are given but this has to be a 99.
THANKS VERY MUCH MOKI
