I had my first new Ashton today, and let me say that it is overpriced!! I would rather spend my money on any AF Don Carlos , Hemingway series, or H.Upmann Vintage Cameroon anyday over this cigar. It was a good smoke, and had a good draw and burn, but there are better Cameroon cigars out there for the money. The cigar had some nuttiness on the palate and was smooth. The wrapper was very sweet to the taste. I would rate this cigar as an 89, but the price kills it. You're pretty much paying for the name, not the cigar.

I agree with cigah_smoka. I paid $11.35 for the belicosos and $12 for the churchill. It was a very nice cigat but for the price there are many others that I would reach for first. Just my $.02

Chief,
I actually paid $7.50, because of my discount, but retail is $11.95. I'd still go for something else.

You are right. This one's a dog. Mild and undistinguished.

Save your money.
