I asked this at another spot on the board but what to hear from a few more before I lay out the cash.

Are these worth it at the price of $50 for two?

Chris if you are not sure if you will like them I will split the 50 with and we get one apiece to taste. Then if you think it is worth it buy them!!!! :D

Had my first one of these at LC-Smoker's wedding this weekend. In a word: fantastic. First couple of draws were very spicy with a lot of pepper. This disappeared and the cigar developed into a VERY smooth, enjoyable smoke. Had a different flavor profile than "normal" OpusX. I don't know if it's a $20-23 cigar, but it was very, very good.

It's my number 1 favorite cigar... ever. I'll buy the other from ya! Or make you a dang good trade! ;)

I haven't even smoked mine yet and I'll still say yes!

Get them from seriouscigars.com - they have the Platinum version that has the black banded FX's in them (the silver box)

Keep in mind that the platinum version is a different blend of Opus X tobacco... very very good, IMHO. I have not had the 2005 DVD set cigar yet, but I'm guessing it is a just an Opus blend.

somebody get that man a cutter a lighter and a glass of his favorite potable ;)

oh and a chair and ashtray

I'm taking one with me camping tonight - I plan to have a nice time next to the fire and the water romancing this little beauty ;)

Got home today and the valet presented me with a little present left by the Fed Ex guy. Seems the Gods delivered three sets of these babies today.   :D

Yes...yes...yes...yes...

I love them and I will buy as many as my wallet will allow me!!!

Worth the price, but you gotta agree, I think it should be a special occasion smoke, because they are just too damn expensive. ;)

Watched the video over the weekend. Wow. Having a look at those aging rooms. All those cigars.

Can Don Carlos smoke a cigar. He would smoke that sucker down to nothing.

If you haven't seen it then get it.
