Just couldn't stand it anymore. With all the high temps lately, temp in my house gets over 77 degrees every afternoon. I worry about the stash of course. Not anymore!!!! With temp and RH control I think I will sleep better at night. Going to meet Bob and pick it up on Saturday, hopefully.

Awesome. I love mine, I'm sure you'll love yours, too.

PM me when you get it home and I'd be glad to share what I've learned about RH and what happens when the pelt coolers run hard......;)

Short answer - don't throw out your beads yet......

Thanks, I won't throw out the beads yet. Please do tell. I settled for an end table to start, wife was not too happy about spending the dough. She will get over it, at some cost to me. Probably twice what I spent. But I don't really care, peace of mind you know.

Well, say what ya want, but ya gotta keep momma happy; unless you cook and iron well.

Congrats.
show us some pics of your investment.
Yes,dont throw your beads just yet,I myself have transfer from a coolidor
were the RH level was great(60%-70%) but in my wine cooler it falls down
to 55% or even 51% at the bottom,I'm waiting for the beads to arrives ,
I hope they'll bee here soon.

Hope this works. It's an Aristocrat end table. 22W x 25D x 29H. Not temp controlled only RH. Bob does some beautiful work. Had a chance to meet him and tour the shop, incredible workmanship.

Question is what's a better way to spend money? By protecting something that could be irreparably damaged by mold or beetles, or re-buying your stash?? It's all in the justification!
