Are you ready to upgrade your M Plus or Aristocrat Plus?

I'm always on the look out for a pre-owned Aristocrat cabinet. It seems that there are never any pre-owned versions on the market (eBay, forums, etc.).

I love Bob's work, but would rather buy a pre-owned unit.

Does anyone have an M Plus or Aristocrat Plus that they would consider selling?

In a perfect world (which we don't live in...) I'd love to buy an non-cooled M Plus with 25" depth. Other options aren't important, but would be considered.

If you have thought about upsizing to an Mxt or Mxt Plus, now is your chance to sell your current cabinet to offset some of that cost.

I have an M+, larger unit, 2 Peltier fans because it has more cubic space.

Looking for a young, not too full of shit, woman to trade or what have you?

LOL...The attached picture is an Aristocrat Plus. I'd love to see actual pictures of your M Plus. Just my luck that someone on the west coast would be the first to respond!

Oops...is the M+ the desk top unit?

Brian

The M Plus is a wider version (38") of the Aristocrat Plus. Here's a pic from Bob's site:

I'm feeling ya. Dang hard to find a used one!!! That just makes me want one more. If no one is selling, that means satifaction guaranteed!

I sure love my new one. I realize now that a cooled humidor is a bit of a double edged sword as the humidity actually goes up a bit when the pelts run hard. But, it's nothing a few bags of beads won't buffer right out. I'll bet when it gets cold and the heat comes on (and the humidity drops) it won't be an issue.

In terms of finish, fit, and functionality, I think Bob has a damn good product. I would consider myself in the completely satisfied category......

Cheers, guys - B.B.S.

Good to hear your experience is so good, friend Tom. I'm actually still waiting to resolve an issue I have with my Aristocrat Plus (but, hey... it's only going on a month now ;) ).

And I agree with you about the cooling being a double-edged sword. I have 5 pounds of 65% beads and I'm still having a difficult time getting my humidity to be lower than 70%RH. I have begun positioning the beads in different areas to take note of the effect on overall cabinet humidity. Hopefully with some luck I'll be able to get the RH down into the mid-60s where I like it.

Thanks for letting me threadjack, Bobby. And good luck in your search.

No problem seadub. I hope you work your issues out. I remember discussing them with you shortly after your A+'s arrival.

This thread is a real shot in the dark. 99.9% of Aristocrat owners are very satisfied with Bob's products.

boy oh boy... don't I feel great

Chris-

I hope Bob handles your issues quickly. I read recently that he has had some employee turnover problems.

Rob

Chris, I hear you.

I have three hygrometers in mine, the one it came with and two others. I have 4 1/2 pounds of beads in the unit, 2 pounds in the top drawers and I cannot get the unit to run consistently top to bottom. There is a variance of 6 to 7% from the top to the bottom. I keep my single ISOM sticks on the top which runs at 62% but with a lot of help from the beads. I have to add distilled water to the beads on top at least 1 x a week.

I started a thread several months back on this issue with no resolution.
