Anyone up for a New England HERF around Christmas?

I'm driving up to my parents house (in Coventry RI.) on Dec 20th and am driving back on the 26th. The reason for us driving was that I might be able to get together with some of you New England Brothers at some point that week. I was thinking a good "in the middle" type place would be in Hartford and wanted to gage the interest so I might be able to come up with a time and place we could get together. The only one that already knows about this is br174 and he's game. I can change the venue to Boston if it makes it easier. Like I said, just looking for some preliminary "I'm in's" so I can sort things out. Would prefer this to happen on Tuesday or Wednesday, that way I don't take anyone away from their families.

I think Wednesday (the 24th) is BAD. Christmas Eve is almost more important to some than Christmas Day itself.

One possible location is either one of the casinos which aren't too far from Coventry RI or Coventry, CT. :laugh: or Wethersfield or Hartford.

I was wondering if you'd chime in. :laugh: I was thinking Thursday was was Christmas eve so that takes Wednesday out of the picture...guess I should have conferred with my calander before putting up the dates. I was thinking Hartford is going to be the most convenient place.

Hartford is approx 2hrs from RI....casino's are pretty close to the center, Foxwoods is on the coast and Mohegan is inland.

ANYWHERE in RI is no more than 40 minutes from me. It's such a large piece of real estate.
