They sounded interesting so I searched the forums and came up with nothing.

Anyone try one?

I haven't tried one yet, but I'm definitely looking to get my hands on a few. CAO is one of my favorite brands

I have one resting in my humi. My guy at my B&M said it's one of the only cigars by CAO he's really liked. I've never really been a CAO fan either, probably only the 5th cao I've bought in my life.

I had one a few weeks back and liked it. Very earthy, and a nice amount of smoke. Still a medium body but with a fuller flavor than I expected. I tried a La Bomba a short time later and it tasted a lot milder than the OSA. Didn't knock my socks off, but a nice smoke.

I had one a month or two ago that my fav B&M brought back from Vegas, was not impressed at all. I put it down after about 10 minutes. I like my cigars spicy and full though and this didn't live up to the hype for me. If you like a milder cigar you would probably enjoy it.

I've had a few of them and they did not impress me. First one was at the Houston Herf where I made the mistake of smoking it after more medium bodied cigars. I could definitely taste a hint of citrus in it, but it was bland in comparison to the lancero Ken handed me. So I gave it another shot and paired it with some sparkling water. Still didn't leave an impression on me I guess it just isn't my cup of tea (medium-full with darker flavors).

Now that I think if it, it would make a decent morning 'gar. But I rarely have the opportunity to have one.

I have smoked a couple of them and was not impressed, I would rather have a Gold Maduro or Italia over these.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like it's too mild in the flavor dept so I'll pass.

CAO has had some bad releases since the early days. They're still trying to get rid of the Visions, which also sounded good from the blend(Dominican, Nicaraguan, Brazilian, Corojo wrapper) but were pretty bland.

^^This.

I do have fond memories of their CAO Black line, but nowadays a peek in my humi doesn't show any of their labels looking back at me.
