Anyone have any experience with any of these humidors?

I'm looking to buy a new 100ct humidor (I know, go bigger, etc.) and I'm completely torn between 3 of them from 3 different sites. I was wondering anyone had any of these or knew anything about these sites at least, or could offer any suggestions. I've done a bunch of searches regarding cheaphumidors.com, and it seems like the majority have been happy with their purchase.

The price differences are something to consider I guess.

First One - The priciest, I wonder about the quality of these from this site?

Second One - nice and simple.

Third One - it's the "Maple Burl" one. It's part of Holt's humi liquidation so it's $75 for a $190 humi. I hear nothing but excellent things about Holt's when it comes to almost anything. But there's no pic of the inside so I wonder.

Cheaphumidors.com is a good site with a good product.

I have two of The Tuscany Cigar Humidor (one in each style).
They are great and I have never had a problem with them.

My only suggestion is that you get a digital hygrometer for what ever you get.

I have the Deauville, also got mine from cheaphumidors. Excellent humidor for the money, and I recieved mine very quickly from CH.

I have been using mine for over a year now and no complaints, good seal and holds the RH steady. As said above a digital hygro and some beads are worthwile upgrades in any desktop humi.

Cool... I had planned on a round digi hygro either from the site I buy the humi from or heartfelt had one for $21 I think... and 65% tubes from heartfelt.

Brings up another question... I've never used the Heartfelt beads. For those of you who use them do you take out the humidifier that comes with the humidor, even if it's quality and use the beads/tube only? Do you just lay the tube in the bottom of the humi? Does it matter if the sticks are up against the tube?

I won your #2 humidor from Cuban Crafters at a herf here in Columbia, SC last year. I use it for my everyday smokes, and have found it to be a great box with one notable exception, it may fit 100 cigars, but only if they are coronas and/or panatelas.

I think all humidor manufacturers tend to exaggerate the amount of smokes that their humidors actually hold, as no one smokes all one size all the time.

That box has a great seal and holds a decent number of smokes, and for $50.00, is certainly priced right.

Good luck!!

I have ordered from both cheap humidors and cuban crafters can couldn't of been happier.

I have ordered 2 humidors from cheaphumidors.com, both were from the imperfect section and are great. The damage was very minimal, one had a light scratch on the side that I was able to rub off and the other had a slightly "bruised" edge that is not noticeable unless you are looking for it.

You may want to glance through the imperfects to see if anything catches your eye.

I will order from them again in the future.

Cubancrafters.com was great to. I ordered my first humidor from them for a good price and it was a great humidor (I no longer have it, it was broken when I moved, entirely my fault, not a construction issue) If you order from them you may want to consider trying a couple of there brown label cigars, I haven't had one in a couple years but I remember it being pretty good for the price.

I haven't ordered from Holt's but I wouldn't hesitate to. I've heard enough I trust them.

Ounceman,
The Deauville is a nice unit, but it is kind of small (remember, you will always want bigger). I am not as familiar with the other two.
If you decide on te Deauville, I can do better than the cheaphumidors price as I carry that model as well.
PM me if you are interested.

Update.. I did decide to go with the Deauville. It says it's a 100-150ct... I know that probably means I'll get 75 in there comfortably and to be honest right now I don't see myself storing more than that.. if that many at all. If I do it might be coolidor time!

Shame I didn't see this post before I ordered though but I do appreciate the offer. I was able to submit a lower offer to them for it and it was accepted so I think I got a good deal.

The first one is made by "Quality Importers" and is one of the best quality "production" humidors I was able to find when looking for humidors for the site. Good stuff!

The second is by Cuban Crafters which has pretty decent quality and great customer service for an inexpensive price.

The third is the Savoy (by Ashton) is an excellent humidor. Great construction and hardware.

Can't go wrong with any, although I'd rate them #3, #1, #2.

I hope this helps

I agree with Mark. The Savoy is the best deal here. It is a great humi for the price. I bought a black 300 count from Holts a few months ago and it works like a champ.
