Anybody going to 'Dega?

Argh! I live 45 minutes from 'Dega...I do not go east on I-20 in April or October at race time...freakin traffic is nuts!! Did you have a good time?

Melly I was actually thinking about you and your post awhile back about the traffic. Even mentioned it to the group. We had a great time, stayed and golfed in Sylacauga, then went up to the race on Sunday. Got the bus stuck in the mud at the track. Damn, you all have had a crap load of rain this year 70". I don't think I have lived in a place in my life that has had a total of 70" in 40 years. Beautiful area though, with some fall colors and rolling hills. Don't know if I would want to visit in June July or August though!

Yeah our rainfall as of late has been awful!! I mean worse than normal! But yeah this time of year...in that area of the state, has some beautiful fall colors...if you ever come back to 'Dega take a visit to Mt. Cheaha State Park...this time of year it is so nice and it is in that area...within 20 minutes or so without race traffic. And the next time you come, come into Bham and have a smoke with me!!
