No, I haven't had the opportunity to do the newb trade. First Helene hit, then I came to Florida for a vacation heh.
I understand if not, but if you need someone to fill a space I am fine with money up front.

I feel the same way. I mean we all pay first though....
My main concern is total newbs knocking out interested members that are active and have jumped through the hoops. But thanks for making me look like a @CigarStone Tom. 😎

This did occur to me and I gave it some thought. I think, again completely host's choice...if a new guy wants in, it's fair to hold him off until the regular guys have checked in...or not. Then, if accepted, he can send his end first. Again...one guy's opinion.

Just my opinion, but I feel like holding a spot for someone that might or might not play seems kind of hinky and underhanded. This is not speaking of this particular newbie situation, but just in general. For example , there have been plenty of contests that I would have liked to join, but nobody held a spot for me. Maybe there should be a “sticky” at the top of the Contest Page with some general qualifying rules. That way if someone forgets to include them, it doesn’t look shady. But, as stated by BBS, this is just one man’s opinion…

I'm not sure what you're saying Dawg. Do you have an actual sign up example of what you are saying?
I know I certainly haven't seen anything like that on CP.
