Any Advice on a Humidor

I am in the market for a large cabinet style humidor. I have been looking at two types that Dave carries at Cheap Humidor (they carry them other places also). I am thinking of the oak color cigar tower for, as they say, 3000 stogies. It probably will only store 2K as I mostly prefer bigger size cigars. THe one I am looking at is the one with eight drawers and four shelves. Some of the questions I have for anyone who has intel on it are:
1) How is the seal on this tower?

2) What is the best humidifier to get with it?

3) Is there a difference, besides cost and style, between the one that cost about $600 and the Antique Style cigar tower that cost $1.100 in terms of seal and quality of constuction?

4) Does anyone have any one of these towers that can give any feed back?

5) Are there any other 3K humidors out there for $1,000 or less that I am missing that are just as good? (I wish I could afford more as Mark suggested for a custom made humidor(Avello), but I will have to wait until the next life for that as I don't make that much as a soldier)

6) Dave offers a Hamilton Beach room air humidifier and suggest that this would work for the towers. Two dissadvantages I see are that it leaves a large frontprint in the humi leaving less space for cigars and the other is, if it leaks it leaves a lot of useless smokes!!! Any experience in this?

I appreciate any info on these items that anyone can supply. HOOOOOAAAAA!!!

Hey bro.

1.) These are imported by Quality Importers and most of the sites, including mine, get them from the same place(s). Of all of the manufacturers of affordable humidors, QI seems to have the best quality and I have been very pleased with the seal.

2.) For a cabinet of that size, I'd suggest the Cigar Oasis II Xl and adding [url=http://www.cigarmony.com/store/index.php?cPath=92&osCsid=0f781d11e583c7278bad065e53a7702c]RH Beads
on the shelves throughout to help even out varying RH levels between the shelves.

3.) The only difference is in the aesthetics.

5.) Cabinets that size run anywhere from $650 to several thousands depending on the craftsmanship and materials used. The Towers definitely offer the most affordable option.

Hope this helps!
