Well, finally after being unemployed for just over a year, I was just offered a position at MOOG. I had an interview Saturday and all the interviewees were told we wouldn't here from them until Friday. Well, today is Monday and I just got the call. I must have really impressed them.

I still don't know the exact job I will be doing but, I will be apart of the MOOG Aircraft Group as an assembly tester. I start next week.

I worked a project with Moog. One of the few subcontractors I've ever dealt with who displayed competence, and professional integrity.
The engineer on the project was one of the sharpest engineers I believe I have ever met. Hope your experience with them is as good, or better. Congratulations!
 
Thanks everyone! I really feel I deserved this position. The knowledge I received in the Marines will defiantly help my succeed at MOOG. I have worked with MOOG components in the past and now it will be nice to actually put these things together.

Congrats!!! I know a few people who work for Moog.... they all enjoy their jobs there.
 
Here's another! I got a job yesterday after being out for about a month or so...not long so I was lucky!! Congrats to you and others who have also gotten lucky!!
