Another find in Denver

Near Park Meadows Mall at I70 @ County Line Road. This place was designed to be the oasis for cigar lovers. If you love jazz, as I unfortunately do not, you're in for double duty. Picture a rectangular shop, the long side facing out. There are 3 rooms, the store, the smoking room, and the bar/club all adjoining. The store and smoking room account for about half of the total space. The selection is about 95% premiums with the remainder being the flavored, smoke producing candy. There were some sticks behind glass that were pushing triple digits - torpedo shaped smokes in colorful metal torpedo shaped tubes, though I'm afraid the labels were mostly meaningless. I'm sure the best of the CPers would find something tasty. The bar serves gourmet coffees and exclusive wines, and the flavor of jazz that sounds like folks torturing instruments (to me).

This place is aimed at the upper-middle class though. I felt like trailer trash (well, I am trailer trash) while I was browsing. I did walk out with about $50 worth of sticks though. Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I may stop in again. No way will I patronize the smoking room, though.

Lived out there for two years and still go back every year, I will have to check the place out next time I am there. I use to live in the Elk Ridge apartments off of 6th ave I believe and also on Memphis street between 6th and Colfax.


Next time I am out there I will let you all know so we can plan a herf...

I usually stay in the Highlands Ranch area.

If I'm in the area again, maybe we can setup a HERF.

Correcto! Only the lounge area is smoke free. The HERF room is in the center and the B&M is on the other side of the HERF room. Smoking is permitted in 2 out of 3.

Hmm... looks nice. I'm hoping there are still a few smoking establishments in Denver. Looks like I'll be heading there for a couple days and might have this evening available. If anyone in Denver is up for a smoke, LMK.
