Anejo Sharks from '02

You guys have been telling me that these anejos are so great with age on them. Remember I was "disappointed in Anejos"? Well I decided to trust you guys on this one so I worked a deal with a guy for a box of Sharks from '02 . $475 was the price. I don't know what retail is but I figure that was fair considering the age. I called Casa Fuente and they said thier price was $625 if they were to have any. I am still waiting for these and can't wait to try them. I will certainly let you know what I think since I am fully trusting all of your judgements on this elusive cigar.

I only smoked a couple of them back when the Fuentes made them. Really nice cigar. Reminded me of an Arturo Fuente Don Carlos, but richer. The robusto retailed for around $8 back then, so don't pay too much for them. A premium for a little age is OK, but don't get gouged. :thumbs:

I have been doing some checking online and everything I can find says that these have been going for $20 a stick. I got them for a little less than that. But I would imagine that I got a little gouged. They will be fun to have though. Apparently only 400 boxes were ever made. I did see pictures of them and they are in nice shape. I should get both boxes this afternoon by FedEx.

The Sharks are still sealed and were purchased in early 2002. Could they be original release 2001s that were left over :whistling: ? I wonder if there is something with a date on it inside the box.
