I smoked cigars for many years, then gave them up about five years ago (muy estupido) except for having one on an occassional basis...didn't realize what I was missing until a recent cruise where I bought a few in the duty free shops, and got hooked again (ah, bliss!)...had forgotten what I was missing and am now going nutz trying to catch up on all the new stuff...tend to fancy maduros...so I am sure my question has been repeated and dealt with ad nauseum but would it be a problem for a few of the very knowledgeable here to let me know what are some of the better sites on the Internet to buy cigars from, best prices, best deals, best service, et cetera?

You could start with some of the CP sponsors. ;)

....am I the only one that finds having two threads with the same author / identical title "And now for something completely different..."...humorous..??... :D

cigarsinternational.com, cigarbid.com, and cigarsforless.com are the best places ive found for bargains...sign up for their email lists and they will send you specials all the time

I always find John Cleese & Monty Python humorous... I once set up my computer at work to play that line and then scream every time I typed in my boss's name.

When I left, I always wondered what my replacement thought of it. ;)

Watch the threads in the hot deals and for sale/trade section of the site. Cigar Bid and Cigars International are great sites for picking up decent smokes, but you will seldom see any super premiums there. Ian at billboardtobacco.com is always offering up screaming deals on really good cigars, such as Hemingways and Padron 26 and 64's.

Payless-cigars.com has the best prices on boxes of CAO's if you're into them. They may ask you to call them for "special pricing". I think that means they want to rip you off. Ask around here and I'm sure people have bought boxes from there and can tell you what price they paid. I bought a box of Italias there earlier in the summer. mmmm....italias...glaahhhhhh

if you put in a qty to buy it gives you the price.

Wait til you see how humerous it is when I use that title for everything... :D

Actually I get bored trying to think up subject names for posts so it just makes it easier... :p

Yes, but most of those banners are for dealers who sell a lot of/mostly ISOM's and I'm asking about stuff that's legal in the US...while i enjoy the ISOM's when I can get my hands on them, most of what I smoke is Dominican and as far as my taste buds developement, I am finding those to be every bit as enjoyable a smoke as some of the Cubans lately...and, IMHO the Dominicans have gotten so good that I have a hard time telling the difference..but then, like I said, my palate is not that educated when it comes to cigars so I might be missing something...:)
