I here all this talk about them and I go a lookin.

After a month or two the shop near work finally has a box but its almost gone and its only been out a couple days. I grab two.

Anxious to try them I fire one up within a day or two. I find it has a hard draw, burns a little unevenly, and has a bitey after taste. I figure maybe they were a little dry because they were so firm and the foot was slightly swelled. I let the 2nd one sit in the humi for a while.

A couple nights ago (1.5 months later) I try the second. Same thing.

Whats the deal. Id much rather have a Padron 2000 maddie or LGC Wavell maddie then one of these. It aint even close.

Any way I have two I bought the other day, before I smoked the 2nd from the original two, if anyones up for some tradin.

I got a couple of the double chat SGs, tried one, not overwhelmed. I'll try the other after it rests a little more.

that 'bitey after taste' is exactly WHY I like them!

but then there's a few I don't like that others do, so everyone has their own taste and preferences.

That's why they make so many cigars so you can find one you dislike the least. :p

I don't like them fresh. They taste terrible fresh. Let them ret 6-12 months. try them then! ;)

Seriously? I mean, seriously? They are not that hard to find. Ah hell, I'm going to the post office anyway....

:p

They taste better than chikkin... :0 I like 'em.

I think the SG is the best under $5 smoke and better than a lot of other higher priced NCs on the market. It's consistently good in terms of taste and burn which seems to be a problem with cheaper cigars.
