[CPT/VSG]

I've been lurking on this site for a while but I thought I'd join the fun. While a college undergrad 30+ years ago, I got interested in pipes and acquired a small collection of original GBDs. I stopped smoking the pipes, though, about 20 years ago but took up cigars seriously about 5 years ago. In the last month or so I dusted off my collection (11 GBDs) and started smoking them again. So, naturally, my interest in learning more about the pipe world led me to this forum.

I've been working my way through most of the McCelland tobaccos (which I like), and, thanks to the many threads about Boswell pipes (which I'd never heard of), I ordered one of the new batch that showed up today on his web site (#10). If the Boswell is half as good as you guys say, it will be great.

I've been a member of Cigar Family for years under the handle CPT/VSG. I look forward to participating in this forum.

The Boswell arrived today after being ordered only on Wednesday. I'll get a picture up.

I'm getting ready to fire it up but I have to say they really know how to create customer loyality: in addition to the beautiful pipe, they included three ounces of tobacco--Magnum Blend, Christmas Cookie, and Northwoods--a nice tamper and a bundle of cleaners!

I understand what the Boswellmania is all about. It has a perfect draw and is smoking very cool. A terrific pipe at a terrific price.

Congratulations! Nice looking pipe, however, I'm a bit partial to the Shotgun shell pipes, all of my Boswell's are of the Shotgun Shell variety.
