Thanks to Moki, I found myself with one of these beautiful cigars. To be fair, this was my third cigar of the day, and comparisons were tough as the other 2 were a ISOM Partagas Short and a Padron 1926 #9
On to the review:
wrapper:
beautiful looking cigar, once the cedar was removed you coukd see that this was a very well rolled cigar (typical Fuente)...beautiful silky redish brown wrapper.
burn:
perfect burn didnt need any extra attention.
ash:
light gray, held about 2" before it fell
taste:
i would call this a medium body cigar...if i would have known this i would have made it my first cigar of the day rather than my last. Very creamy with cedar and citrus flavors...no bitterness, but some spiciness. The cigar stayed medium body throughout the smoke...no big flavor build, just a steady eddy.
draw:
absolutely PERFECT.
smoke:
I would say the smoke was medium, aroma was very nice. Again very cedary.
overall:
This was a very good smoke, but one that I personally would choose as a day starter, not ender. While some people might absolutely LOVE this cigar, I would much rather spend the money on Opii or Anejos, but thats just me and I like stronger cigars. That being said, the balance and draw were really spectacular and I would strongly recomend it for those who haven't had the chance yet.
