I'd like some BOTLs feedback,
With the humidipak in the box of A.Fuentes is there a need to unseal the box while it's in my coolidor?
The humidipak is 70% RH and my colidor has 65% beads (thanks Viper!).
Thanks guys,
Rob

Rob,

Really good question...as long as the humidipak is in the box and its sealed I would guess that it would be good for a good while, because it would be difficult for air to get in and moisture to get out, and dry out the humidipak. The only thing I would worry about would be the lifespan of the Humidipak, and how long they successfully humidify before drying out. To be certain that your cigars are getting proper humidification you could always just ditch the humidipak after opening the box and use the beads for humidification, that way you would be sure of getting proper conditions for your sticks. Hope this helps out! :)

Thanks Nate!
This is pretty much what I figured.
My only real concern was on whether to break the seal or not... I guess I'll crack em open in a few months.

I always wondered about this.

I know the Fuente box I purchased had a Fuente Humipack inside the box.

What happens if I don't open it and leave the whole box in my humidor?

Does the box "breathe" even when the box is still wrapped?

What if it's a non-Fuente brand (no humipack inside)...is it okay to keep it wrapped in a humidor?
