So I have a few of these left over from the Wish list fulfullment pass.
I had some time so I selected it cos it's not often you get a chance to smoke a big ol Chuchill sized cigar.
I was pleasantly surprised by the draw. I remember other Hemingways having tighter draws.
Not much to say about the flavor except AWESOME. The Hemingways are a very "classic" cigar (pun intended). They are understated...sort of like the referee...the best never get noticed...but then again it kind of sneaks up on you that WOW this is a great cigar. It's kind of hard to describe...maybe like that NFL ref Ed Hockulee..you know the one with the huge arms?
The flavor...I don't taste leather, citrus, lavender, or any of those other things. It has just the right mix of sweetness, and the main thing I can say about the flavor is that it is "smoky" in the sense of say a Hickory SMoked BBQ sauce. Very nice.
It's down to about 2 inches and I'm still smoking it.
I'm not going to rate this one. It's a classic that needs no further explanation, and more words woudl just taint the greatness of this cigar.
