Today I was visiting a local cigar shop I fequent. The owner said he had some Best Sellers in the back.

Now, I'm not much for a detailed review, but da'amn, that cigar was fan-f'ing-tastic. In my book 2  up.

I'll bet it was a great cigar. Haven't had a Best Seller yet but I haven't had a Hemingway that I didn't like.

I about fell in love with that Best Seller the other day. Does the Best Seller have the same flavor profile as the rest of the Hemingway's?

yes and no. imo it is similar in flavor to all the others except the short story and the masterpeice.s/s and masterpeice are not the same as oneanother either, although they are supposed to all be the same blend.
b/s, woa, signature and classic to me are all about the same.hemi's are one of my favorite smokes

the maduros are a completely diffent taste. btl uses maduro and a natural wrapper as apposed to a cameroon wrap that makes it unique all by itself.
maduro hemis are same binder/filler but the maduro wrapper changes the profile completely. hemi maduros are rare,if you find them buy them i will trade my soul for those cigars or anything else i can get my hands on.(work in a cigar store ;) ).released at x-mas with the anejos generally.

What makes the Short Story and the Masterpiece different from the rest of the Hemingway series?

I just got a mix of Best Sellers and Short Story's...

Anyone got opinions on the differences between these?

I'm gonna smoke one of each soon to find out for myself.

Tonight's gonna be the Best Seller!!!

Okay, just "finished' the AF Best Seller (it actually finished me...had to stop, got spanked...left 2 inches)

Wasn't what I expected...it was harsher than I thought it would be. Man, kinda got disappointed :(

Thought it would be a bigger version of the Short Story...

Maybe I need to smoke it after some aging...

Read in a post here that the Short Story is different from the rest of the Hemingway line...is this true?

Anyone like to share their experience?

I just bought a box of Best Sellers because of this thread. They are mighty tasty I must say! I also just got a box of Short Stories from '00 in a trade. My next quest will be to obtain a box of Between The Lines. That will be a true chore.

Had a Best Seller maddie last week. Maybe it was young, but it didn't seem like anything remotely special at all. Flvor was fairly bland, harsh if you smoked it too fast, and never changed. Wasn't bad, just nothing special at all - would rather have a chateau sungrown.

I think WOAs and WOAMs are the best. BS are pretty good, but I can never find them.

Just smoked my first WOAM gifted so graciously by a member here and all I have to say is WOW!

Burn is awesome, construction perfecto :), draw is very smooth with a ton of flavor, and the flavor, well it's both spicy and nutty in its own special way.

I kind of wish I would have waited on the box of WOAM's today, but I settled with the WOAN's and I am sure they will be very good, as all the Short Story N's I have had are awesome.

If I had any WOAMs I'da smoked them by now! Sorry man, I've only had, or seen only one myself

Damn, need to learn how to score these cool cigars.

How much better are WOA or WOAM than Short Story's?

Wasn't too keen on the Best Seller that I smoked the other night.

Haven't tried a SS yet but the WOAM I had was good.... Like damn good!

IgwanaRob, if that was a Best Seller in Maduro then you smoked a $100.00 cigar. Best Sellers in Maduro are not regular production, there were very few made and they were only given out at one of the CFC's.

The Hemingway blend is pretty much the same in all of the different sizes, the reason that people get different flavors is because of the size differences. The larger sizes like the Masterpiece will be much milder than say a Best Seller. When there are major differnces in wrapper to filler ratios, the flavors will also be different.

The maduro Hemingways taste totally different than their cammy wrapped counter parts. The Work of Arts I believe do have a different blend than the regular Hemy's.

Doh! Just checked the order, of course it was a natural. Still get to wear my newbie hat ;)
