Wow...
Had my very first Anejo today. After a long weekend of smoking fish and cleaning up the mess, I sat down and fired up this beauty. A nice V-Cut and a test draw that provided a GREAT flavor- so much i thought about just sucking on the thing for awhile!

What a great flavor after I put fire to it... from start to finish (and a nub finish it was) this was one tasty cigar. I am adding it to my list of must haves for my mortgage burning party! I'll have to keep my eyes out for places that carry them (can't get locally)

It's hard to describe the flavor (and I've pretty much stopped trying i my reviews!) but it was most definatley a spicy, tasty cigar that left me wanting MORE! I can see myself becoming an Anejo whore!

For 25 bucks a peice, they better be one FANTASTIC cigar that will give you a "full service" after smoking it!! :D

That's the one. Had a box delivered today 162.50 total including shipping. Don't ask.

Second all.... I can't get any domestics in Japan - ISOMs and Phillipine Cigars only (poor me). When I do get my 1 trip to the every 12-15 months, they are never in stock. I have to rely on trades and BOTLs here who offer to buy adn ship for my Anejos, or any other difficult to find premiums.

Love the Anejo - better than Opus IMO.

Absolutely insane to pay those kinds of prices for this cigar. Yes, they are rare, but you can usually find someone willing to sell or trade at least one. Never pay those kinds of prices. :0

Actually, the draw is fine as long as you get a good lip-lock going (or there's the alternative hole... :whistling: ) but the slime has a tendency to keep snuffing out the lighter before you get a good burn going. I find a propane blowtorch works the best...

I loved the 46's its my first and only Anejo. I've smoked about 5 of them though. Mine cost $10.50. A question to the experienced out there, Is the 46 typical of the line?

The 46 is pretty indicative of the flavor profile the others have. The others vary more on the strength side then on the flavor.I find the 46 to be the strongest of the line with the 77 being the mildest.

The Anejo is my favorite line of cigars and I smoke at least 2-3 a week across the board depending on how much time I have. I have to save my 49s for when I have a 2 hour car ride ahead of me!

$162.50!!!

How in the hell?

I need to know...where...WHERE!!!

M u s t ... get my precious...

Okay, that was overplayed...but nonetheless...WHERE!

PLease read my reply to the last post...What is Anejo. You all should give them to me....you must all give them to me...you must all give them to me!!!
