I have been up and down on this site trying to find out more regarding peltier units. I'm a little confused becuase, I have gone to different electronic web sites and some are being listed for approx. 30 dollars and some go as high as 250. What is the different in these devices to create such a large gap.
Seconldy, Im trying to modify a solid wood coffee table into a humidified one. The table I want to convert would allow me to have a storage area on the bottom of the table since it has a shelf running the entire bottom of the table about 4 inches higher than the bottom of the foot. I am going to enclose it with glass as to keep it as a storage for my box collection. The only option I have would been to place the unit on the bottom of the table. What are the requirement for cooling a heatsink peltier unit.
Third are there any diagrams that show how to construct one from begining to end which also include what is needed, e.g. power unit, wire, timer boards, cervose? etc. I have not been able to see a breakdown of how to contruct and would like to know how a novice like myself would be able to put a peltier together with a timer and temp sensor.
