About to place a small order

So I'm about to place an order for some of those Don Carlos Fuente's, when I stumbled upon these prices for Padron 1964's, and was wondering if anyone of the wise enlightened members (FOGS) could verify if this is a screaming deal, or about average. I'm thinking about trying a 5 pack of the Coronas, and have read good reviews everywhere else about them.

I saw that thread when I was searching around the site, but it's almost a year old, and I'm not sure if alot can happen with the supply, and then the price over that time. These prices are actually below the MSRP in that thread, but as a newbie, I'm just worried about getting ripped off.

I'll tell you what... Instead of going directly toward the discussion of prices and whether it is a good deal or not, if you do smoke A.F Don Carlos, tell me if this is a good price or not ? If you thing the DC prices is a blow out sale, then go with your Padron things. If not, then at least we all know that we get a little bit wiser at we grow older every day.

Assuming the cigars are genuine and are in good shape, then it is indeed a good deal -- those Corona's are Naturals tho, not Maduros -- if that matters to you.

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking here, but I think you're asking my opinion if the AF Don Carlos prices are good? I've checked several other sites, and both the prices on the DC's and the prices on the Padrons are better than anything else I've found. I'm sure someone else around here probably knows some where they could be found cheaper, but there's a point in my search where it's just not worth my time any more, just to save $3.00 on five cigars.

Anyway, with that said, I'm going to place my order now, and I've decided on the Maduro Superiors instead of the Corona Nats I was looking at, since everyone seems to rave more for the Maduro.

I guess we'll see how much I like them in a week or so. I think these fivers are a good way to try new cigars, better deal than just buying two individual sticks, but not committing to an entire case if you don't like them.
