I thought Aaron Rodgers made a pretty good showing for himself tonight against a pretty good defense. He seemed to manage the game pretty well and didn't make any really foolish mistakes that I could see. Of course time will be the ultimate judge, but he certainly didn't look lost or out of his comfort zone.

I won't compare him to Favre because it's really impossible to make that kind of comparison. Based on his performance alone I'd say he fared pretty well.

I think the NFC North is going to be pretty interesting if the Bears, Packers , and Vikings all continue to play like they did this first week. If Detroit can somehow pull themselves up from the sewers it will be even better.

Next to TJack he looks like Brett Favre!

Now you know why the vikes wanted him (Farve) so badly.

Rodgers is alright

I think the biggest differences I noticed were:

1. Packers QB scrabble for first down and QB sneak for TD. Haven't seen that in years.
2. There was a hint of control with the offense. It was more of slow and steady pace without the gunslinger.

Not as exciting and not as many deep balls for the one punch KO, but a nice flow.
