A tale of 3 smokes

I was stuck working the late shift at work tonight; since I haven't had a chance to smoke cigars for quite some time, I decided to do it in style.

First up was a VSG ER Sorcerer-sized -- wonderful smoke, a little rough to start up with though; these things definitely have a bite.

Back to back, I followed up with an Opus X Double Corona from 1999 -- man, some age just makes Opus X cigars even more divine. It takes a bit of the edge off, turning them into absolutely legendary cigars.

Finally, for dessert, I maintain the indulging with a Padrón 1926 Serie #6. This little guy was just heaven after the two main courses.

Out of the bunch, I think I probably enjoyed the aged Opus X the most; the Padrón was a damn close second though. Perhaps almost a tie. The VSG ER was awesome too, but it was a little on the rough side. Another year, and I think these guys are going to be stunning.

Good Lord moki, you should change your screen name to Smoki!!

That is a nice lineup for an evening of Indulgence

Can you feel your tongue today? Wow! That was an impressive little self-herf there my friend.

Actually, it's not too bad. I wonder how badly the office stinks though, we'll see based on the glares I get :)

I had the window open, tapestry in the door seam, and the Csonka on full blast, so we'll see.

What kind of job do you have anyway? Late shift and smoking cigars. Dude, must be rough.

I'd love to light up at work, but the schoolboard, the administration, the students, and the parents, probably wouldn't like it much if I started HERFING in class :p

Nice job moki. If I'm looking for work anytime soon, I know who to call first.

Baby**** green with jealousy,

If they complain just smack them with a ruler.

Well, it'd work if you lived 100 years ago or so. :)

In retrospect, I'd have to say that the Padron and aged Opus were indeed different but tied in terms of my enjoyment factor. Good ****. Hope I get to do it again soon.

Most would be happy just having one of those smokes in a evening.. But all 3?? :0

Where do I sign up for that privledge?!!

I really need to ID that Opus X I was gifted in the newbie trade to know exactly what Im holding onto. ;) Who knows, I might have the ammo to pull this stunt off myself. :sign:

Great reviews Moki... makes my mouth water wanting to light up my first Opus X.

If I recall correctly, that Opus X is a Petite Lancero. She's got a good kick, careful :D

Pull the trigger. You won't regret it. :)

WoW moki man! What a great trio! I've done the same duo (opusx(98) and 1926). I agree, opus only gets better with age. I must do that again sometime!

Sounds like either a Fuente Fuente or a Robusto -- I'm betting on the former.
