I was stuck working the late shift at work tonight; since I haven't had a chance to smoke cigars for quite some time, I decided to do it in style.
First up was a VSG ER Sorcerer-sized -- wonderful smoke, a little rough to start up with though; these things definitely have a bite.
Back to back, I followed up with an Opus X Double Corona from 1999 -- man, some age just makes Opus X cigars even more divine. It takes a bit of the edge off, turning them into absolutely legendary cigars.
Finally, for dessert, I maintain the indulging with a Padrón 1926 Serie #6. This little guy was just heaven after the two main courses.
Out of the bunch, I think I probably enjoyed the aged Opus X the most; the Padrón was a damn close second though. Perhaps almost a tie. The VSG ER was awesome too, but it was a little on the rough side. Another year, and I think these guys are going to be stunning.
