A few years back Swissy Jim and I both had accidents that laid us up for a bit (I fell and broke some ribs) and we amused ourselves by sending each other get well soon bombs.

Well Jim sent me a Anjeo Shark that he guesstimated was around 5 years old. I put it on my top shelf and planed to smoke it on a special day, so that puts it at at least 8 when I fired it up today.

Anjeos have always been hit or miss with me, either they blow my mind or they are just "alright" and nothing special.

Well this one was a mind-blower for sure. Thanks Jim, it reminded me that Anjeos are really good cigars and the Sharks a step above the rest.

Edit: Oh what was the special occasion? Nothing, nothing at all other than the fact it was a beautiful day and I was alive to enjoy it.

I'm sure our dear departed friend Infinity smiled down from the big herf in the sky and gave me a big thumbs-up.

AWESOME!
I smoked the last from that box some time ago... my self control is not as strong as yours! And yeah... they were yummy!

Smoke it slow, Jack!

And the anjeo profile goes well with a good brandy or rum (hint, hint)

I love smoking Anejos with some Zacapa. Simply heavenly. And the No. 77 is my favorite of the marca as well.
