Please consider that many of us have the luxury of enjoying CigarPass from work. I will skip when I see a NSFW warning because I can't risk having a boob shot "forced" on someone else here at work. Even a bikini is too risky. I could lose my job. Please, please think before you put a pic in a thread that doesn't have a warning posted.

I agree completly

But remember its our companies computer and employees shouldnt even be using it for personal use
At least that what Ive been told :whistling:

We had a 'general' warning passed around our office just yesterday. This is a serious concern for some of us, and I'm glad Bruce brought it up. We're a community, a family; gotta look out for each other.

Perhaps a special thread icon that a user could identify when they've posted something that is NSFW? I'm not sure how many mods are out there for Invision but maybe there is something that exists that can be added?

Cp has been blocked at work for me due to a thread title.

"Hardcore Cigar Porn XXX"

Oh well, never mind.

This issue is a concern for most of us that view CP at work.
I currently block signatures and avatars of members because many of them would be considered pornographic by my employer.

I like this place a lot, but it's not worth getting fired over.

I have seen on other forums a setting in the User CP to enable/disable thread images or to insert placeholders only. Is that available for CP, Rod?

Heard that, Carl. But, I don't want to block ALL images. I use FF with Adblock so I can be selective. The images are a large part of what makes up CP.

Problem here is a thread may start off just fine but have an image added down the road. How can the poster add "NSFW" to the thread title, after the fact?

Just turn off the images and deal with it.....which is what I do at work.

They could just post a link to the image. I appreciate the fact that Gary does this so I don't inadvertently have something on my screen at the wrong time.

I think a little courtesy isn't too much to ask. The effort to keep the content here a little "friendlier" doesn't necessarily have to fall completely on those that may have problems with it, it can go both ways.

I hadn't thought of that, Alan. That's actually a very good idea.

In the meantime, I've turned images off at work. As an upside, the pages load much faster which means more content can be browsed during my little "brain breaks" here at work.....
