I have heard and read many people describe different cigars as having more or less flavor than another. I didn't even know what it meant. Truth be known, I just couldn't tell the difference. I'm not sure if it's because I'm smoking more frequently or if I'm paying closer attention to the flavor of the cigars, but the last two I smoked (Punch Champion and Padron 1926) have been very flavorful. I've enjoyed them thoroughly. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for helping to enlighten my palate. Tomorrow I'm gonna try the CAO Brazillia. It'll be interesting to see how that one works out.

Love those two cigars, Punch and Padron. Tell us about the CAO once you've smoked it

Okay, so I had the CAO today. Here's what I noticed. First, it doesn't draw as easily as the Padron. Second, it didn't burn as evenly as either of the two I had smoked previously. It also didn't seem to have as much flavor as the others either. How do my observations compare with yours?

You also might want to give the Punch Rare Corojo Rothschild a spin.

I thought the Brazilia was pretty good, but I didn't have any burn issues with it. For full body try out the CAO Black VR. I really like those.

Also, the Punch Rare Corojo is another good one. I'd describe is as more medium bodied, however.

I've been smokin' cigars for 26 years. There are many that I have yet to try. And I have found that some days my pallet is just off for certain cigars. So for me, it is important if I don't like a particular cigar that is supposed to be good, to give it at least one more try on a differnent day. Just my opinion and what works for me.

The CAO Brazilla has a pretty thick wrapper (IIRC) THat might be what led to the burn issues. How long has it been stored in the Humi and at what RH. I love the CAO, and Have found that right off the truck, they burn pretty crappy. I let them rest for a few weeks at 65% and have no issues.

Just this guys 2 cents

Tim
