I smoked at gifted RASS (thanks Swissy) at the Quad State Herf. The appearance was gorgeous-an almost golden brown wrapper made smart by a nice looking band.
Pre-light draw was easy and hinted a cedar taste.
After lighting and taking a few puffs, the cigar settled in to a nice creamy, smooth smoke. I tasted the cedar again but this time the finish was a tad sweet. No bitterness or spice but this did not disappoint. Or was I being distracted by meeting great botls at the herf, not to mention the fabulous raffles going on? The cigar smoked consistently throughout. The draw was just mouthful after mouthful of nice luscious white smoke. The ash was nice and even and solidly packed. I compliented this robusto with a nice pint of Guiness that leaves you a feeling of content A special smoke for a special occasion. You might ask, what is special? With prejudice I say: being gifted, the occasion and the cigar itself.
