5th Annual Cigar & Celebrity Celebration
Our 5th Annual Cigar Celebration will be held June 10, 2006 at The Florida Aquarium. Experience the dying art of cigar rolling by a master cigar roller, sample cigars made of the finest tobacco, indulge in an array of culinary masterpieces from local restaurants, dance to the live music and take home fabulous gifts from our silent and live auction at Florida’s premier cigar event.
Here you may meet cigar legend Arturo Fuente (Arturo Fuente Cigars), Nonita Cuesta-Henson (Cuesta Rey), the Newman family (The J.C. Newman Company) and Cigar Dave (Smoke This radio show).
Local celebrities such as Jack Harris (WFLA 970), Victoria Lim (WFLA TV 8), Jay Feaster (Executive VP The Tampa Bay Lightning), Bobby the Chief Taylor, Ian Beckles, Steve Otto (The Tampa Bay Tribune) and Gil Thelen (The Tampa Bay Tribune) have all experienced the growth of this celebration.
Additionally, Bucanero Cigars, Drew Estate Cigars and Edwards Pipe & Tobacco will treat you to the finest tobacco around and speak to you about the finer points of cigar smoking.
There will be plenty of entertainment; live music, dancing, food, drinks, live and silent auctions. Not just an event for cigar smokers, there will be smoke free areas set up for an evening under the stars.
Come celebrate a part of Tampa’s history while making a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
Last year we raised over $115,000 net to benefit individuals with disabilities. Will you help us to get to $150,000?
