Darn, I would probably make the drive down if I wasn't just returning from Atlanta then. :(

We're about 45 minutes from Boulder. It'll take half an hour to find a parking place! :0

Nevermind, I got the dates screwed up somehow. Now I just need to come up with an excuse to go?
And drag me along with you!!!

How far is it for you?

Well, I'm in NW Washington, so... Pretty far!!!
PFFFFT road trip! Just think of all the great cigars you could smoke on the way here!

I can't wait for this.

Jonas - we could probably park at my friend's apartment. She live like 2 minutes from CU

We had a great time at this fest. There were a ton of great beers and the place was a madhouse with people. We got there, paid our entry fee, got our glass and 16 tickets and the list of beers to be sampled. You basically just went to the bar and told them what number you wanted to sample, rinse and repeat until you couldn't drink anymore.

I have the entire list somewhere, but off the top of my head here is what I recall tasting (it was a blur after about 12).

*Bull and Bush – Royal Oil (this was an English Style Barleywine and it was the star of the day)
*Bull and Bush - IRS

Missing a tripel, I think it was a “Big Sweet something or other”… Not sure what else I left out.

*Indicates best of show! The Bull and Bush beers were from some tiny pub here in Denver. Of course they don't sell it anywhere and you can only get it on tap at the pub. There were both quite amazing. Also, whatever the Tripel was, it is in my top 3.

Well into the event in this picture.. :whistling:

Yeah I do but it wasn't hard, each of those beers are at least 8% and most 10-16% abv! :whistling: Needless to say it was a fun afternoon.
