I did that Christmas!  It was amazing.  Really got me hooked!!  Thanks bud.

1. I have always idolized a certain NHL great.  It has been my dream to play next to him one day.  During the lockout I learned to watch him play with Modo.  It is because of him I have the #22.

edit to add:  I am not that great at hockey; if I was to play with any NHL player it would be a charity game or stick time....wanted to clarify I am not like some guys I know that think they are just waiting to be called up from beer league :)

Hint for today; other than the fact that you guys are missing an important clue from previous hint.
1. the question is what is the meaning behind my user name (so the answer cant just be a player in the end)  The Modo has been answered...But to state again, the number 22 is not in reference to a player that wore that number.....But, and this should make it easy:  I would wear number 22 if I was to play with my hockey idol because ...... "this person" wears my favorite number already. 
 
Hope that makes sense!  If not I win :)
