3 Pricks, Giddy Asshats & a Flake pass

It's amazing, for the most part, how many people in a pass stop following the pass once their turn is up.

OK, maybe not following completely, but adding anything to what's currently going on...

Guys...along this topic there are a few things to consider.

1) We just hit the warmer weather, Passes in the colder months attract more chatter because members are housebound. I don't sign in to CP for days on end this time of year.

2) It was a National Holiday this past weekend and leading up to it people are spending time outdoors. Cleaning up the outside, planting stuff, painting, etc.

3) It's vacation time as well, especially for you guys down South where it gets warmer quicker than us up North.

4) A good number of the members in this Pass are jerks, myself included, and no one wants to fraternize with us....not all, but quite a few

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I sure did...

I agree with you Gary.  It is really hard to keep up with it all this time of year.  There are so many mobile devices being used now, so I don't know if that is necessarily the case for everyone.  I think I am with Jonesy on this one in the fact that there seems to be a few of the individuals that think they are not part of the pass any longer.  They are posting elsewhere in the board, but not contributing in the pass.  That might be why some people that run a pass where they give away a prize to the end to encourage the participation.

I think for the most part the biggest culprit in this pass was the holiday weekend.  We must continue and carry on to the end of this thing.

Jeez, I wasn't trying to imply you (Gary) had fallen of the face of this pass, I was just making the statement (which is true in all passes) that at some point, people stop following after their turn is up. This is a FACT.

I dislike CJ also...

I for one am still enjoying the banter. Proceed gentleman.

I also have been enjoying the banter.  Although I have not expressed any opinions since my turn, I will say it is a little difficult to jump into the fray amongst "friends" who are comfortable trashing the hell out of each other!  :D  Particularly when I don't know enough of you well enough without sounding like a newb asshat.......although asshat is part of the title  :whistling:

I thought the second point was a fact as well.
I think it's more of a consensus than a fact....

Frank, jumping in with the rest of us is how you become comfortable. I've been around here for a long time and there are guys in this pass I've been giving a hard time that I've never had any dealings with before this pass. Prior to about maybe two months ago, I'd never interacted with CJ either, but from all of this, you probably couldn't tell.

I think CJ is a good guy. I wouldn't bend over in front of him to pick up the soap, but...........

You're all a bunch of pedantic pricks, but you're all welcome at my house anytime.

Nate your puts arrived today, and your takes will fly tomorrow with 2 others. (Sorry guys, drove to Wyoming today and forgot the bring the packages with me to drop off!)

Kendall I don't see any objections with your proposal, so I say you've got the green light. Dave (thechenman) you're at bat.

OP updated, only 2 more to go!

Oh and gentlemen, I do believe the T(roll) is running a contest at the end of this pass, so I encourage your participation until the end.

Yeah...and what's he gunna offer as a prize? Some crappy cigars from some strange, small island he got while stationed in Europe?

As much as I hate to agree here  :whistling:, Jonesy is correct... To me one of the great things about brotherhood isn't pussy footing around & being all prim & proper.
We're all a part of CP because of our love, enjoyment, etc... of cigars, many of us have other things in common & for the majority of us that is the fact we are men.
I'll tell you right now if you get $hit from me, I think your a good guy... if I ignore you or otherwise shine you on... you might want to check your pants... your missing something.

As for Gary's statement about the time of year... I agree
More over, as a blanket statement, I personally learn more by watching/Listening (reading in this case)... I look to the board daily on average to see where things are at & to see if I can lend a word or 2 that will assist or otherwise create more banter...lol

Other than this weekend, over the last 2 weeks going into the week after this I'm working 12 hour days... My communication has & will be limited, as I have my ole lady & four kids, but rest assured I'm watching!! and will respond/comment when needed.

I wouldn't either!!  ???

I still read religiously the thread but most of the time I dont have any value to add the the comments on the puts and takes. That being said life kind of running fast these days around here. Ill try to be more of an ass for the rest of the pass then ! (and I tought being myself would do the trick;-)

I definitely jump on and read when I can.  Even if I don't comment on the trades its really great to follow them and learn what flies and what doesnt.

And I agree with the comments about the season.  As the weather gets nicer I find I spend less time in front of the computer following all of you trolls!
