Hello hello!! I'm new to the cigar world and I have a basic question for all of you cigar Masters!! I know that you should use distilled water in a large humidor but what about well water in a 3 finger cigar case that has a humidifier in it for like a day? Is that enough time to taint the cigars?

For just strictly H2O humidification I would use only distilled water.
Having said that, I haven't used H2O for humidification of cigars in years.
YMMV & good luck

As mentioned before, no need for one day. But as for well water for humidification, the concern is impurities and potential bacteria that can cause mold to grow on your humidification device and risk spreading to your cigars. Though it may seem pointless and inconvenient at first, a quick trip to the store is much easier than a mold
infestation. Order yourself some quality ‘colloidal silver’ and mix it with distilled water. Most people who do this, swear by it. Just my two cents. Best of luck!
