Ok, I didn't even notice that I'd reached the 2000 post plateau. So, I guess we'll have a contest. Everyone is invited to join. All you have to do is answer this one question.
On June 13, 1944 the USMC invaded the island of Saipan. During the course of this battle a dying Marine wrote the following tribute to Hospital corpsman:
"Where angles and Marines fear to tread, there, you'll find a Corpsman dead". Where did he write it? First correct answer gets something sweet.
