I thought I would make everyone hate me for a bit. I'm about a quarter of the way through the 1996, and am about to cry... more pics later.

The Davidoff tastes like Jesus!

Wow. I'm very interested in hearing about the Partagas Especialidad 1996. What did the foot look like?

Very very nice. One day the stars will align and someone will offer a Davidoff when I have money to burn.

Salomones No. 2 (cut foot). I've had a couple and recall some very good flavors, but nothing so memorable as to support the price point on them.

The reason I ask Bobby is that I have one of the "not so Especialidads" with the uncut foot.

This is a story that has been beaten to death with one side claiming the uncut cigars aren't authentic and the other side claiming they are. I suspect that we'll never know the true answer.

Have you smoked one, Robbie?

I would like to hold it until I get hold of the real Especialidad for taste comparison. The one I have is very nice looking.

The especialidad had a cut foot. And what an ass whomper! I smoked about half of it in my car on the way home(yeah, that's right, in my car), almost passed out on the 15...

more pics..

That's the Party Especialidad, Davidoff Dom Perignon, and an Hoyo Piramides EL 2003 and a Tatuaje ashtray.

This is just the kind of review that Doc has been looking for. "Stop comparing cigars to food," says Doc. Jesus is a damn good cigar. Great review. Best of the year. F.ck Kingantz anyway.
