Partagas Demi-Tip
Island origin, Island Puro
From a 5 pk. 1987
Plastic Tip
5 x 29
Pretty cool to smoke one of these, given the novelty of a tipped Island cigar.
No cutting, no fuss, no hassle.
This cigar is approaching the 20 year mark and it's pretty mellow and creamy.
I had a few problems keeping this lit because of the super high humidity right now.
I had to relight it 3 times during the 35 minute smoke.
The first 2/3 thirds of this cigar had a very nice tea like taste that went very well with icewater.
There is a subtle hint of pepper/spice behind the thick creamy taste throughout and got more
pronounced towards the last inch or so.
Surprisingly, the plastic tip didn't have any effect on the taste of the cigar
like I thought it would.
I'm unsure of it's actuall box date, but with help I was able to discern that
according to Cubatabaco records production ceased sometime
in the mid to late 1980s.
