Here's the Killer Beans line-up for you enjoy:

African Assassin

Regular price $10.95 one pound $6.45 1/2 pound

Kalossi Knock Out
whole beans - dark roast - full body
Similar to aged Sumatran coffee and slightly less acidic. Grown on the island of Celebes (Sumatra), Kalossi Knock Out is one of the world’s finest coffees. This is not a one punch wonder!

Venezuelan Vendetta

Nicaraguan Knife Fight

This particular coffee is roasted slow and dark, that gives it it’s characteristic bittersweet flavors, and delivers a heavy rich earthy aroma. The taste is full bodied with a heavy syrup finish and slight under tones
of wood. Cut into a bag and find out what it’s all about!
Regular price $10.95 one pound $6.45 1/2 pound

Medellin Mad Man

Brazilian Bombshell

Hey Jerry, any chance in getting a light bodied roast in? Don't get me wrong, I love the full bodied treats. But sometimes a guy needs a lighter bodied coffee for guests.

I've had a few people ask me about a lighter roast over the past three years...but I don't think you'll see me come out with a lighter roast anytime soon.
I really enjoy a dark roast, and since we roast 65 kgs at a time I'd kinda like to be sure that I'd be able to see all of it.
I had the same question about decaf, so I roasted up a batch...only sold 20 lbs and the rest went to the VFW Post and the Firehouse. I understand your question, and it's a valid one. But if I find myself throwing away more than I sell it's not too good of deal. Things may change in the future and if I do start a batch of lighter roast I'll post here frist.

Thanks,
Jerry

Speaking of roasting beans Jerry; What is the average age of your beans after roasting? Average time from roasting to shipping. How long can will they be ok in the bag?

Just curious. As you know I am a big fan of your coffee.

Thanks for the question Jason, it's a good one.

I get shippments arriving here about every week. SO the beans you get from me are indeed very fresh...most of the time guys get beans that are no more than 4-5 days out of the roaster.

Some say that beans will only last one week out of the roaster...that may be true with some coffee. I've found (and others will say the same) that Killer Beans are great 2-3 weeks after they've been roaster...sometime even longer.

Remember, coffee hates three things:
1-Sunlight
2-Oxygen
3-Cold

Never store your beans in the frig or freezer, that will only dry them out. Store your beans in and airtight container in the kitchen cabinet...you'll be just fine.
