What's up, sorry it's been a while. The last couple weeks have been pretty crazy for me. Now I'm back and ready to show you folks a couple items.

10-Lancero Sampler
10Lanc_Samp.jpg

I brought back our popular 10-Lancero Sampler. I left some old favorites in there and added a couple new goodies. Like previous Lancero Samplers we are giving you free UPS Ground shipping (in the continental U.S.) on your entire order when you grab a 10-Lancero Sampler. This set would normally retail for $105.85, we have these ten Lanceros priced at $85. The collectio includes one each of:

Lost City OpusX, La Flor Dominican Double Ligero, La Flor Dominicana Cameroon, Coronado, Kristoff Criollo, Oliva Serie V, Aurora Preferidos, Nestor Miranda, San Cristobal, and La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial.

La Aurora Preferidos No. 2 Platinum Cameroon
auroraCAM_2.jpg

I cracked open this box of cigars earlier in the week and found out these were originally cedar aged in October of 2006 and were shipped on 4/20/07. That's right, dude, 4/20

These are La Aurora Preferidos No. 2 Platinum Cameroon cigars. They're 5 x 54 perfectos. I have singles available on our website.

Coronado Maduro

I want to let everyone know that our supply of Coronado Maduro is starting to run low. These were part of the batch of limited production cigars Litto made last year. There was the Coronado Maduro, La Flor Dominicana Corona Habano (man, I wish we had more of these), and the Double Corona Habano (Litto removed the original wrapper on some original Small Batch No. 1's and re-wrapped them with his Habano wrapper leaf). The Coronado Maduros have the same filler/binder blend as a regular Coronado only Litto added a dark, oily Maduro wrapper leaf. Only one size was made, the 5 7/8 x 47 Corona Especial. These sticks are fairly full bodied. The usual spice you get from a regular Coronado is replaced by sweeter flavors and a little hint of cocoa. Like I said, we're starting to run low now so if you haven't had the chance to smoke a Coronado Maduro you should definitely think about picking some up.

Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario

Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario cigars are back in stock. Before the Lost City OpusX was released these Don Carlos Anniversary cigars were, in my opinion, the best Fuente-made cigar Prometheus put out. The filler/binder blend is similar, if not the same, as the regular Fuente Don Carlos line; Carlito then added an OpusX wrapper leaf and the rest is history. Three sizes are available, we have singles and boxes of ten of all three sizes.

Double Robusto (5 3/4 x 52)
$28.90/cigar
$289/box of 10

Robusto (5 1/4 x 50)
$28.90/cigar
$289/box of 10

Toro (6 1/4 x 48)
$27.90/cigar
$279/box of 10

I also have a 3-cigar Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario sampler on our website, it gets you one of each size for $85.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. If you have any questions or if there is anything else I can help you with please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,
Eric

Good lord, I'm going to be broke at this rate. That lancero sampler is heavenly looking....

I think this is the best Lancero Sampler we have put together. When I was choosing the cigars I realized I hadn't smoked a La Flor Cameroon Lancero in a long time. We only received one shipment of those Cameroon Lanceros so all the cigars we have are still from that original shipment. I wish I could remember when that came in. The cigars are definitely a couple years old. Anyway, I smoked one and was blown away. The cigar had a perfect burn, which you don't always get out of a lancero, and the falvors have really developed over time. Normally I'd have a La Flor Oscuro Lancero in there (those are probably my favorite lancero) but we've been having a hard time getting more of them lately.

Thanks for checking out the deal. Enjoy the weekend.

2007...with a 'Cameroom' wrapper!

First release in July-ish...second in October-ish.

Thanks for the info, Gary. I was just poking around the internet to see if I could find out when they were released and couldn't find anything.

While we're talking about La Flor Lanceros I guess I should mention we have some of the Culebra Lanceros here, too. That's the set with the La Flor Double Ligero Lancero, Oscuro Lancero, and Cameroon Lancero.

Sounds tasty Eric but how do you decide on which ones to share with two of your friends and keep for yourself. Maybe just have to smoke one after the other and enjoy all three by yourself :D . I do have 3/4s of a box of the Oscuro Lanceros from a couple of years ago, so I may have to smoke one of them today to see how they are aging...... :D  :p

Good question, Charlie. I'd let my buddies fight over the culebras while I smoke a La Flor El Jocko. When ever I go out I almost always have either a La Flor El Jocko Natural or a 6-pack of La Flor Carajos Oscuro with me.

I bet those La Flor Oscuro Lanceros are smoking pretty good. Did you get a chance to try one, yet?

Eric, I see where the phrase "smooth as silk" came from, they are incredable......

Excellent! You said those Lanceros were from a year or so ago, correct? Those older Oscuro Lanceros were soooo dark. Same with the La Flor Dominicana Churchill Especial (the one with the pigtail). Every now and then we get a shipment of Oscuro Lanceros or Churchill Especials with that real dark, oily wrapper. I make sure to take some home with me every time we get a dark batch.

Dark Batch....that sounds like the name of some heavy metal band or something.

That box of DCAs is mocking me... 28 bucks a stick, but soooo worth it. Choices, choices!!

I really wish the Fuente's would handle the distribution of these cigars instead of Prometheus. I bet they'd be around $15 or so per cigar if the Fuente's released them on their own.

"The Box is Mocking Me" will be the first single off the new Dark Batch album, by the way.

Great news, we just received a shipment of Litto Gomez Diez Vintage Maduro cigars. Only one size has been released, the 5 3/4 x 46 Americano. Litto has been working on putting out a Litto Gomez Diez Maduro for quite a while now (I'm talking like almost two years). I know he's had a hard time perfecting the Dominican Maduro wrapper leaf he uses on these cigars. Well it looks like he's finally happy with the blend because the cigars are here!

lgd_VINTAGE.jpg

These use the original filler/binder blend from his Litto Gomez Diez Vintage line and are then wrapped in a Dominican Maduro wrapper leaf. Singles go for $10.25 each and boxes of 24 are $221.50. I'm probably going to let the cigars rest a day or two before I sample one. I'll give you a review and post some photos after I light one up. Until then let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Eric

Gonna do it..Ordering the lancero sampler and a few singles...TOO TEMPTING!!

Done deal....

None of my friends can finish a lancero.

Very nice! All of those sticks are somewhere in my coolers, right now. Awesome!

It would probably be even more awesome if you pulled one out of the cooler and smoked it

Best part of putting the sampler together was the fact I couldn't get the cello back over the cedar-wrapped Anejos. I now have five Anejos sitting at home for me

Now that I've got all my shoveling done I think I might have to step outside and smoke a 46 tonight. Might have to haul an extra cigar outside with me to share with the new friend I made on Tuesday night:
