There is quite a difference between todays counterfeiters and those from many years ago. Years ago cigars were made with anything they could roll into a cigar and didn't care about the taste or quality what so ever. They were in it to make a fast buck knowing that you would never buy from them...

Many times the wrapper quality of the fakes are better than the authentic cigars. The Miami fakes often have very good quality wrappers. Bob

In addition to the many things that have already been mentioned it is very coincidental that both sizes have the very same wrapper. This is quite unlikely but not impossible. Both exibit the same shade and oils. Considering that these are two different sizes and possibly would have been made in...

It's buyer beware. Always do your research before pulling the trigger on cigars you have never heard of no matter how good the packaging or cigars look. Bob

Nice review Greg. Sorry this cigar had burn issues. I hate when that happens. At their best these are the one of the best recent Upmanns out there IMO. Bob

Another interesting thing regarding the Punch Monarcas is the tubes are marked Monarcas while the box itself states 25 Monarchs on the ones I currently have. I also seem to recall other Punch boxes with Monarcas printed on it as well. Since the boxes are the exact size for both it is possible...

I had the same problem a year or so ago. The problem was not with my bank per say but with the third party they contracted with who keeps customer archives files. Apparently their servers were hacked into. They gave me the same 2 year no fee subscription to all three credit monitoring agencies...
