Well, tonight I ate a traditional German dinner in Heidelberg. You can still feel, I think, the shadow of that whole thing in the subconscious of the culture here. The stiffness, the reserve is palpable. But later I went out salsa dancing in Club Havana here. That's right salsa dancing. And...

Hmmm, and me going out in Heidelburg tonight. Wonder if it will flavor the evening? Not that I would know. Germans don't seem to get out of their skin much even to say hello.

Well, here I am!!!! Toured Alsace wine country this weekend---what fantastic views and wonderful wines. Will keep posted about Nurmberg. I will be in Bamburg Thurs night.

I will be in Heidelberg in early November for about a week. Any CP members around there? My sister works there and planning a little vacation. Would love to get together a smoke one or two. I might even chance smoking a cohibo since I wont be on the soil. Who knows?

'Course I'll be there. I do have a gig in Warwick in the evening, though, I think. So I will have to head out to play some blues a little bit early.
