    Hurt

First of all, I hoped you talked to your buddy about the situation before you put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard). A little advance notice to him about your feelings would have been appropriate. You could have at least gotten his take/guidance/input on the situation. Did you do that...

Good call on this one, vinny! I think you hit the nail on the head. I looked back over Gahau's posts and this "gal's" posts are achingly similar.

    Free Give Away!

If you have lived in Georgia since the age of 4, you have no excuse. Based on your posts thus far, I would have guessed you were Eastern European, or perhaps Scandinavian. And had been in the U.S. for less than 5 years. ??? As it stands, you are giving the rest of us Georgians (I was born...

Guys, it's obvious that English is not her first language. While the wording is somewhat jumbled, the punctuation and capitalization are not wholly bad. Tolerance is probably warranted.

Which Famous Author Do You Write Like?

Let me know how that works out. :p I entered half of chapter one from my book. I got Arthur C. Clarke. Not as good as Asimov, IMO, but I'll take it!

Holy hand grenades, we just sold our house...!

Very cool, congratulations! It's a good feeling when the SOLD sign goes up. It's even better when the new home starts taking shape. Lots of work -- from picking the flooring, to the tile, to the paint. But the wife and I enjoyed every minute of it when we built 7 years ago. I hope you...

Thanks all... I've been in Des Moines for work the past two days. My wife called me yesterday to let me know the paperback proof copy had arrived. She says it looks good. I will take a look at it this evening and, if I agree, the paperpack version may be ready for purchase from...

    Jalapeno Recipes

Jalapeno Butter Soften a stick of butter to room temp, them mix in a finely minced jalapeno. Great for grilled cheese sandwiches, corn on the cob, or any other dish that uses butter. Easy, but very tasty!

My First Novel now ailable on Amazon

Matt, I’m glad you brought that up. I have indeed joined the growing ranks of indie publishing. Similar to independent filmmakers, indie publishers have to perform most of the tasks required to get a book ready for publication. Literally hundreds (thousands?) of hours have been invested in...
