Welp, we buried my dad last week so now it's going through all his stuff.
He was a photography enthusiast so lots of pics to peruse. These are from his tour in Korea - cigar at the ready.
Had a 99 year run - he did good by all of us.
Well, after changing to a more powerful motor I managed to smoke the original control board (pun intended...) Tonight I finished wiring up a different design and made a few other changes.
An Oliva Protégé to celebrate being back in bidness!
Eh, I'll take it for a first ever attempt. Learned a lot and will do some fine tuning later this week.
A little Glenlivet and a CAO America to relax with.
"I may be ugly now, but just you wait!"
Actually it'll be ugly anyways. First try at a Ku Mai billet (9 layers of steel and copper). Pondering options over coffee and a no-name stick.
My local B&M must be Turkish - he brewed me up some coffee and - I'm not a coffee officianado by any stretch - it was the most delicious I've ever had.
I don't see it that way at all. There are so many brands out there that I've no problem leaving one behind to move onto others.
And my briskets are always spectacular! ;)
Yes, I'm game to try an infused once in a while - but those turds sucked.
I'm OK with Drew Estate and the such every once in a while - my real pet peave are any that have sugar on the cap - WTF??
Still 16 hours to go in 2021 so a CAO America to sign off on the year.
Forged out a couple crosses for my parents - one to lay at rest with my dad and the other for Mom. Gettin' artsy with the filters lol.
CAO Columbia - another good one. I had a Moontrance way back when - horrible stick and out me off the brand. Got a sampler for Christmas and these are great, comparatively speaking.
Uh oh, I've brought another over to the dark side...
My niece is here with the rest of the wife's family and is (was) having a slightly rough time with her dipshit (ex) boyfriend. Up til 1am shooting the breeze along with my son and I.
Her mom is Nicaraguan so I brought out some CAO's and...
There's water falling from the sky!!! Should I be concerned? (I'm in AZ, we forget there are such events...)
Coffee, new heater, brisket on the smoker pushing through the stall, pups relaxed, cigars burning well - all is right with the world.
