Welp, we buried my dad last week so now it's going through all his stuff. He was a photography enthusiast so lots of pics to peruse. These are from his tour in Korea - cigar at the ready. Had a 99 year run - he did good by all of us.

Well, after changing to a more powerful motor I managed to smoke the original control board (pun intended...) Tonight I finished wiring up a different design and made a few other changes. An Oliva Protégé to celebrate being back in bidness!

Attempt #2 at a Ku Mai copper/1095 billet. Lunchtime while it cools so I can cut it up and see what I have. Like 'em or hate' em - I dig the KFC.

Eh, I'll take it for a first ever attempt. Learned a lot and will do some fine tuning later this week. A little Glenlivet and a CAO America to relax with.

My local B&M must be Turkish - he brewed me up some coffee and - I'm not a coffee officianado by any stretch - it was the most delicious I've ever had.

CAO Columbia - another good one. I had a Moontrance way back when - horrible stick and out me off the brand. Got a sampler for Christmas and these are great, comparatively speaking.

Smoking a 22lb'r, as well as a Macanudo M coffee. Trying out pellets made from Jack Daniels oak barrels. Smells pretty damn good.

There's water falling from the sky!!! Should I be concerned? (I'm in AZ, we forget there are such events...) Coffee, new heater, brisket on the smoker pushing through the stall, pups relaxed, cigars burning well - all is right with the world.

I need to take vacation more often... Lunchtime!
