    I would say that most folks here are somewhere in between a Newbie and a FOG. I think of a Newbie as someone that has been here less then 6 months and are still under a probationary period.

    For Lossless digital recording I use FLAC or WAV file format. Here is a nice forum that talks about all things digital recording. http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?act=idx and don't give up on the mp3 format. LAME encoder (version 3.98) produces a great file at the higher bite...
