FLH is a Model identifier for the Harley Touring Bikes. FLHR = Road King FLHTCU = Ultra Classic Electra Glide And so forth. Pretty sure they all have pretty hefty fairings on them.

Not much advice to give on Harleys, as I've never owned one (really like my V-star), but will stick my nose in in other ways... It's not clear if you've done much riding in the past. If not, the MSF basic course is terrific, and, depending on the state you're in, may count as your "road test."...
