This one looks a little fat for carrying in the breast pocket of a suit or in a pants pocket.   Tom's got a good point.  If traveling by car, why limit yourself to 9 ounces when you can take a full bottle?

  Wow.  I know very experienced shooters who complain about the snap of the LCR .357.  I really wanted to get one at one point but backed off when I heard about the recoil of such a light gun loaded with .357 ammo.  I'd be interested to hear what your and her thoughts are on it after Christmas...

  XDS is very nice.  About the size of the Shield in a .45 acp, and the recoil was surprisingly manageable.  Easy to shoot well, I thought.     For some reason a lot of the new small guns have had recalls recently.  The Shield, the XDS and the Sig P238.

I've had the Gold Label Reserve.  A big mistake was drinking it expecting it to be even remotely on the level of the 18 year Gold.  It isn't even close.  I'd mix it with anything to mask the taste.

I guess this makes me the voice of dissent.  I too have an aristocrat and I have the set and forget system, and I love it.  However, based on the dimensions, the mini is probably smaller than 4 cubic feet.  I believe you can adequately humidify with beads.
