My god...
The Padron Millennium maduro is the best cigar I have ever had, but that was several years ago. I'm not sure if I'd want to possibly ruin the dream. Kind of like a past love, it's best to leave it be and move on.
Just bottled an Early Grey IPA (early grey tea, Herkules and Summit) and a Latte Sweet Stout (vanilla beans, coffee, milk stout). A smoked Dunkelweizen in the fermenter now, and as always more on the way.
Meh, I've done both. Most of the time beer goes to a secondary for all the good reasons (clarify, bulk age, etc) but sometimes I just leave it in the primary and let all that flavor age in ie I get lazy ;-). I've made good beer both ways. DWRAHAHB
Just the other day while hanging out with my buddy Drew5337, and making knives, he looks over to me holding a bottle and says "You need to try this". The potent potable he was offering was Jeppson's Malört. This liquid claims to be a "fine Swedish liquor", and upon first inspection it seems to...
Well that BigB is, well, it's big. Damn that's a fat Opie. Looks like it was an enjoyable smoke overall. Love the pics, especially the light up. Next time your around KC we'll grab a smoke, as always
Yep the latest Indios Reserva Maxima '03 I bought were bundles. The maduro is a fine beeswax sweet, lightly dry and spicy smoke. The only problem I have with them is that they are bunched poorly and tend to be soft and tunnel and burn a bit hot. Even considering this flaw they are worth the...
Also, you could just bring them out in the original box. Hell, when it's 75F and 65% humidity, it's practically a humidor outside anyway :p .
Thats what happened with this box of Masterpiece Maddys. We also found the box makes a pretty fire.
According to the charts on solarham.com it doesn't look like we'll get the worst of it, but if you're on the air you'll hear it on the bands.

I usually just toss a few sticks in to a secure box or bring a couple of tubes and throw them in my pack. Everything works out just fine. Don't worry so much, relax you're camping. Just smokem' ;)
I am truly jealous. We have a buddy heading over there next year and we originally though "Hey, it's only 16 hours to the Transfagarasan Highway in Romainia. We should vist and road trip". Why we didn't think of driving the ring, I have no idea.
Talked to Jeff Padron about this on Saturday and was wondering if he had any "samples" ;). Unfortunately he didn't but I did want to know what the deal is here, especially around the auctioned humi. He said, that the sticks in the humidor has what is most likely to be the final cigar. They are...
