Merkur 34C with Astra Platinum blades is my go-to.  The astra platinums may not be quite as aggressive as the feathers, but they're pretty close, last longer, and are a bit cheaper.

If the MSRP truly is $12k, that would put them at $40 a stick, which I think would be much more attainable.

One of my new favorite bands as well, I hadn't heard of them before until the Grammy's when they performed "The Cave", which may be my favorite song by them. "Little Lion Man" comes in a close second also, but really I love the whole CD, you should definitely pick it up if you get the chance.
