Tom...I've always kept a good amount of varying sticks in my humi to keep me from burning out.  I always have a fairly large rotation available just so I stay intrigued.   Just my opinion.

I have finished the 6 tough treatments.    Yesterday I had the first of a minimum treatment, "Avastin".  It is a chemo drug that hopefully will keep the cancer at bay for a while.  I am in "Partial Remission". I would think retro haling could definitely ill effect your sinus.  It is a habit I never started, and reading what you have written, I'm glad I didn't.  I do enjoy my cigars without that extra evolution.  You might stay away from that activity for a while and see where that takes you.  Good luck.

XIKAR has great warranties for their products.  Everyone has their favorites, mine is XIKAR.

You are changing too many variables at a time so you really don't know what is doing what.  Sill looking for the picture of your humi.

If you can, post a picture of your Humi.  If your Hygrometer is 8 years old, have you calibrated it recently?

Take your cigars out of the 50% RH environment until you figure out what is wrong.  You may have a seal issue, and your temperature 76 is kind of high.

We drink an "everyday" brand called Woodbridge.  There are several in our group of wino's that agree it's a reasonably priced well made cab.

Bovedas are constant (as long as they are not dried out).  You can believe in them if in a controlled environment.  Don't make yourself be in a hurry.  A well seasoned humidor is a wonderful thing.
